In September 2016, the traveling exhibition “Soul of Felt” started in Siegburg, Germany.Voor the first time works of felt artists from Russia and neighboring countries were shown in Europe .
During the opening Ricarda Aßmann, Nina Demidova and Julia Struzh told about the birth of the idea to create such a versatile exhibition.
That day I have spoken to many people with the same mindset. With great pleasure I saw my works standing between the felt creations, that I only have seen on social media platforms and virtual storefronts until then. You can rarely find a place with such a variety of workpieces in felt: both traditional and contemporary objects, clothes, shoes and bags, wall decorations, plants, pillows, pictures of animals and fairytale characters and more. One hundred and fifty handmade felt works. Gorgeous!
